The Three Wise Men Delay and Pray

Jan 11, 2024

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Matthew 2:11

Miracles do come true!

In today’s episode, we reflect on the transformative power of the Epiphany and the journey of the three wise men.

Beth shares the touching story of the humble drummer boy and draws parallels between their gifts and our own actions in the past year and the goals we set for the year ahead. We owe it to Jesus to look back at the past year and answer how we gave Him:

  • Gold in the form of LOVE
  • Frankincense in the form of CONTINUAL PRAYER
  • And Myrrh in the form of OUR CIRCUMSTANCES AND MORTIFICATION, which means to subdue our bodily desires in love of Him.

Join us as we explore the significance of the gifts of love, prayer, and sacrifice, and how they form the foundation of our spiritual journey in 2024. Get ready to slow down, reflect, and set meaningful goals for spiritual growth as we embark on a new year of grace and blessings.

You are invited to join the the Delay and Pray™ cohort, which is NOW open for enrollment, until January 15
