The Words of the Infant King

Dec 12, 2024

“Mother, become like unto Me, since on this day, for the human existence, which you have today given Me, I will give thee another more exalted existence in grace, assimiliating your existence as a mere creature to the likeness of Me, who am God and Man.

– The Divine Infant King to His Mother Mary

We are in the midst of the Advent Season and it can be easy to lose our peace amid the holiday chaos.

In this episode, I share my methods for integrating prayer, organization, and the Delay and Pray® approach to transform your experience of the holiday season.

Discover strategies for simplifying festive preparations and enhancing spiritual growth, inspired by the wonderful book I love to talk about – “The Mystical City of God” by Venerable Mary of Agreda.

Some questions I am reflecting on and I invite you to ponder as well:

  • What message – what words does does the Infant King have for me this year?
  • What can I do to prepare Him room to speak to me like Mary?

The image of the Divine Infant has transformed the Holiday Season to a Divine ending and new beginning of every calendar year. Oh, to be a Catholic with intentionality – living by a divine order that is given by the Catholic Church.

I am set on Holy Fire as I joyfully call this the Holiday Season:

  1. Thanksgiving (Eucharist)
    2. Advent (Preparation for His coming once again)
    3. Christmas Day (He is Born into our hearts)
    4. The Christmas Octave (Celebrate Him – the Great Feast!)
    5. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (A new year to say yes like Mary – a new you in Christ! Another year to begin again! Nunc Coepi!)

How exciting to be a Catholic surrounded by other Catholics who are on the same journey with all the Feast Days mixed into the Holiday Season! Family and friends and priests and nuns who are on the same Pilgrimage of this Divine Life led by the Divine Infant.

How amazing is this journey? There is no time to be stressed.

He is coming in just a few weeks. We are called to be Advent people. We have blessed work to do.

Let’s begin tonight! Start to prepare our hearts, our bodies and souls, and prepare Him room so that He can fully work within us, beginning with His personal message on Christmas Day, throughout the Octave and into the New Year.

He has something to say to you. He is longing to transform you into a New Person in Christ!
It’s not going to be easy to Delay and Pray® through the Holidays, but it is important that we do.

Don’t forget to keep the manger in your gaze every day and greet each day with joyful expectation of the Divine Infant coming into your arms again on Christmas morning.

Embrace this season with hope and joyful anticipation. Have a Blessed Advent!
