“be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Are you are seeking something new?

A new destination or place where you feel better, thinner, and learn how to process emotion without overeating or overdrinking.

A new beginning? Especially during this Advent Season?

A new approach to finally losing the weight and becoming fit in mind, body, and soul.

The new concept resides in the body/soul composite as a human being. Most often, we do not consider our body and soul as integrated in every way.

For years I dieted with my body and worshiped with my mind and heart—my soul. What I needed was the promise of A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST. I discovered that I could use all the spiritual and worldly weapons available to attain PEACE with food every single day just by leading a Sacramental life in Christ and managing mind and body around that life including all that we eat and drink.

Only Christ can transform us, but we must put in the work.

This is a triune approach using the theology of the body in every way:

Biology: Our bodies are made perfectly by God. Most people do not know how our bodies work. Sugar, flour, and alcohol in excess hinder our ability to go without food for long periods of time—hence hindering our ability to spiritually fast on Wednesdays and Fridays of every week as the Blessed Mother asks of us and the Church asks of us on Fridays and fasting days of Lent. The way that our bodies function and utilize the substances that we put into it are so important to our faith life!

Neurology: Our thoughts that are created in our mind are real and substantive—creating our emotions and then our actions. Our minds are very important—what we allow into our 5 senses and how we manage our thoughts on a daily basis effects the happiness we can experience each day. Our mind is a gift given to us by God. It needs to be fueled by the Truth and good food.

Theology: We can use God’s Truth and Life to hold all our thoughts up against his Truth. Our minds are designed to keep us safe and out of harms way, but can leave us stuck in limited beliefs and lies that we accept about ourselves. This can hinder our relationship with God and others—stifling our dreams as we eat and drink and buffer away our dreams out of gluttony. God wants so much more for us. Grace is the answer to all this. We cannot transform ourselves alone. Jesus does this in the quickest way through the Sacraments.
