Summer of Pilgrimages – Part 1
“The Lord does not delay his promise, as some regard “delay,” but he is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. “

It was a summer of pilgrimages! It began with an International Marian Shrine Pilgrimage, and ended with a national pilgrimage for the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana.
On the Pilgrimage of Hope, through Portugal, Spain, and France, our Catholic faith and sense of history were deepened as we studied the apparitions of the Blessed Mother and the footsteps of the Apostles and Saints.
We prayed, fasted, and wept at many tombs of great Saints. This is part 1 of a 2-part series, as there is so much I want to share with you about my experience on these pilgrimages.
