France, Your Mockery Backfired
“Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.“
– Galatians 6:7-8
This episode is going to be a little different as we just experienced the opening ceremony of the Olympics in France last weekend, where some of the opening scenes were outright immoral, confusing, and mocked the Catholic faith in several ways.
I felt called to create a response on my podcast on this subject because there is such a need for prayer and fasting now for justice and reparation for what happened.
We can see the culture sinking deeply into vice – a place that is very immoral and dangerous for the soul as well as the body.
In the Delay and Pray™ program, we talk quite a bit about virtues and vices, and it seems as if the world has no idea what a virtue or a vice is.
It is no coincidence that I just got back from Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France, where I saw the most beautiful landscape. Like I said, the Marian shrine, the grotto and the Pyrenees mountains, and fell in love with this country. And I have faith that this country will be delivered back to her Catholic roots.
I am so sure. These blasphemous acts of the Olympic games have fueled me to find the truth. So I thank them for that. The devil always overplays his hand and God always wins.
It’s time for us to wake up. God will not be mocked. Fast, pray, and say your rosary. The weapon of today, you know, is the rosary. And I am joining thousands of others in fasting of the watching of the Olympics too.
It really is time for Catholics to stand up for moral, beautiful, soulful, and pure entertainment for our families.
